Using psychogeography as a theoretical framework, this project transforms the daily 10-minute
path to school into an interactive digital map that explores the gradual healing effect of the
physical environment on emotions. Through a 2.5D gamified narrative of four key scenes (church
garden, streamside path, children's play area, skateboarding plaza), combined with sensory data
tracking and mood swatches, the project visualizes the dissipation of “waking up breath” and
unlocks a dynamic emotional heat map.s
Although this project has initially realized the combination of psychogeography and game
narrative, there is still room for improvement in the depth of interaction and visual presentation.
The current interactive tasks are more linear, and branching options and real-time emotional
feedback can be introduced in the future to enhance the user's perception of the impact of the
path. In terms of graphics, the material details of the 2.5D scene (e.g. church brick pattern, s
skateboarding area graffiti) can be further refined, and dynamic light and shadow can be added
to simulate morning and evening changes.
